From raw material sourcing to end-of-life, all emission associated with the creation of each piece of jewelry is offset. Since our inception, we have been tracking and assessing the environmental impact of our activities with the goal of reducing our carbon footprint to zero.
It implies that all of the carbon we emit has been offset by the same amount of carbon we removed from the atmosphere. This way, we can pay back for whatever we take in a sustainable fashion, and we can always come up with new designs and ideas without affecting the planet we live in - think of it as fair commerce with Mother Nature.
More than half of our products' sustainability effect occurs in the raw materials stage, just before the jewelry is manufactured. Our goal is to protect all of the habitats in which we work. We strive to protect (even restore) biodiversity, ecosystem structure, and ecosystem services whenever and wherever possible.
We promptly and responsibly correct environmental hazards that we have created. Increasing the amount of recycled raw materials in our designs has been and will continue to be an ongoing priority, to minimize emission from our upstream activities. We take jewelry out of landfill and into the hands of our growing community of responsible wearers.
